New financing opportunities appear, from the state, for Romanian companies, but also for authorized individuals (PFAs).

Companies and PFAs in our country should know that now they have the chance to buy a new car, with the support of the state, through the Rabla Clasic and Rabla Plus programs.

What you need to do to benefit from the program

If you have a legal form of organization, respectively company or PFA, you should know that it is necessary to exchange an old car for scrapping. It must meet the conditions set out in the two Rabla programs.

Also, it is very important that you do not have to worry about bureaucratic problems and you do not need to travel many places to various institutions, as we are usually used to. Companies and PFAs that want to enroll in both Rabla Clasic and Rabla Plus can do so directly, online, right on the website of the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM).

Moreover, an element of novelty is the fact that companies and PFAs have the opportunity to house two cars considered to be scrap, in order to obtain consistent support for the purchase of a new car.

What are the financing conditions

In this year’s edition, the programs come with a number of changes. Regarding the Classic Scrap Program, the scrapping premium is 6,000 lei, respectively 9,000 lei in the case of handing over 2 used vehicles, to which the following eco-bonuses can be added, as follows:

-ecobonus worth 1,500 lei, for the new vehicle, except motorcycles, whose propulsion system generates a maximum of 120 g CO2 / km in WLTP system;
-ecobonus worth 1,500 lei, for the new vehicle, except motorcycles, equipped with LPG / CNG engine
-ecobonus worth 3,000 lei for the purchase of a new vehicle, except motorcycles, equipped with a hybrid propulsion system;
-ecobonus in the amount of 1,500 lei, for the scrapping of each used vehicle with an age of at least 15 years from the date of manufacture and which has a pollution norm of Euro 3 or lower.

Another change refers to the age of the used vehicle eligible under the program, which must be at least 6 years from the date of first registration in Romania.

The Rabla Plus Program introduced the obligation to scrap a used car in order to purchase a new car. At the same time, for each new vehicle, there is the possibility of scrapping a maximum of 2 used vehicles. The amount of funding is:

-51,000 lei for a new pure electric vehicle or a new vehicle with a hydrogen fuel cell and 26,000 lei for a new plug-in hybrid electric electric vehicle, except for the motorcycle, which generates a maximum of 80 g CO2 / km in WLTP system, in exchange for scrapping a used car;
-54,000 lei for a new pure electric car or a new car with a hydrogen fuel cell and 29,000 lei for a plug-in hybrid electric car, which generates a maximum of 80 g CO2 / km in WLTP system, for the purchase of a car new, in exchange for scrapping two used vehicles;
– for each used vehicle older than 15 years and which has a pollution norm not higher than Euro 3, an eco-bonus of 1,500 lei / vehicle is added.

Also, the eco-label for the purchase of an electric motorcycle is 26,000 lei, to which can be added an eco-voucher worth 1,500 lei, for the scrapping of a used vehicle at least 15 years old from the date of manufacture and which has a Euro 3 pollution norm. or lower.
