The first electric model of the brand, MX-30, recorded its first sales, being delivered to nine customers. In the third month of this year, Mazda reported a volume of 308 vehicles sold, up 168% from the same month in 2021.
Mazda is in the top of Romanians’ preferences
“We are glad to see that even in the first quarter the results are increasing, registering a doubling compared to the previous year. At the same time, we obtained a new sales record in the fiscal year that has just ended, with 2,794 units delivered throughout the country. The Mazda CX-30 remains the most appreciated and best-selling model in Romania, surpassing the other models in the range. I am confident that this year’s sales will also be supported by the Mazda CX-60 SUV, our first plug-in hybrid model, which consolidates Mazda’s transition to the premium segment “, said Cristian Rigu, Country Manager Mazda Romania.
According to the registration data, published by DRPCIV, Mazda managed to enter the Top 10 of foreign brand registrations on the Romanian market, with 259 cars registered in March, with 487 units registered in the first quarter of this year.
