The Sims 4 calls on players to vote for two new kits – That’s Gaming

Electronic Arts and Maxis revealed today that they are putting Simmers in charge! The team of developers is constantly amazed by the amazing ways players express themselves in The Sims 4. For this reason, they are asking the community to let them know what themes the upcoming kits should be inspired by.

Vote on different themes
There is only one round of voting, so it is extra important for players to make their opinions heard right now. For both Create-a-Sim and Build/Buy it is possible to choose from two themes. Players can vote until Monday, May 22, 4:00 a.m. Dutch time. The winning themes will appear in future kit launches. You can vote here.

First of all, it’s up to players to decide whether they prefer light or dark. Rainbowcore allows Simmers to express their inner light and bright energy. This style features vibrant colors with plenty of bright and cheerful patterns that add some sunshine to a Sim’s life. Players can also show their dark side by voting for the edgy and mysterious Goth Mode. The somber aura of moody Sims come into their own with this theme.

Next, Simmers can choose between the past and the future. With Medieval Castle, they can create the perfect kingdom full of splendor, with the grand, rustic castle as the centerpiece. If Simmers are more in need of scifi architecture with sleek metal exteriors and glowing accents, they can vote for High-Tech Futurism. Through this theme, it is possible to build a perfect home base for Sims coming from other planets.
