MADRID, 19 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The coach of Cádiz, Sergio González, was happy for Monday’s victory at the Camp Nou against FC Barcelona, a success that should “be gasoline” for his team in order to achieve salvation in LaLiga Santander.
“This victory has to be gasoline for us. We have prepared it with great enthusiasm, a lot of energy, with the desire to do damage, and everything has gone perfectly. We have been very good with and without the ball, and we were also successful in both areas. Winning in a scenario like this has to strengthen us”, celebrated Sergio González in statements collected by the Cadiz club’s website.
The Cadista coach saw “a very complete match” for his team. “We have had a script that has suited us perfectly because our plan was different from theirs. We corrected Dembélé’s change of orientation in the second half and after the goal we were able to score 0-2. Then it was a gale of theirs in the offensive plane, but the team has been well behind and the goalkeeper has been exceptional. This is great for us”, he stressed.
“In all the games I always try to be involved, isolate myself from everything, hit the changes, in the refreshments. We left with a bad feeling against Betis, we have demanded more of ourselves this week and today it has turned out as we had established. It is not easy win at the Camp Nou against this rival, but we have had our plan and it has turned out great”, he sentenced.
