The Spanish MotoGP rider Maverick Vinales (Aprilia) acknowledged his illusion of competing this weekend in the Catalunya Grand Prix, his “home” race, on the ninth round of the season and in front of his fans, “the extra” he needs to compete.

Asked about his teammate, Aleix Espargaró, Viñales highlighted the good relationship they maintain. “The partner thing was always more taboo.
