Porsche now makes e-boats –

Porsche has revealed the first look at its upcoming electric speedboat. Known as the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, the boat is said to be powered by the same electric motor and powertrain that will power the upcoming Macan EV.

Porsche has said that this boat is powered by a limited version of the Premium Platform Electric model on which the Macan is based, meaning it can only crank out 400 kW of peak power. As for battery capacity, Porsche promises a 100 kWh battery that will allow the boat to travel more than 100 km when used at its hull speed, and a range of 45 km when using an optimal cruising speed of 41 km / h. It will be able to reach a top speed of 85 km / h when using its Sport Plus mode, but this will significantly limit the boat’s range.

As for the dimensions of the boat, it will be 8.67 meters long and 2.49 meters wide, and it will also come with a high-end audio system, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and has a 12-inch multi-information display to boot.

Porsche has said that the first 25 editions of the boat are available to order now, all at a starting price of a whopping €561,700, with deliveries scheduled for 2024.
