During today’s PC Gaming Show, independent developer Indoor Astronaut announced the follow-up to their successful cooperative hit Unrailed! with Unrailed 2: Back on Track, coming to Steam Early Access next year.
Featuring chaotic online and couch co-op multiplayer mayhem, players will gather resources, create tracks, upgrade their trains and overcome the wicked challenges of the wild world to reach the next station or risk becoming a total train disaster.
Each journey through various biomes is unique with procedurally generated maps and branching paths through exciting landscapes. Players can even challenge their friends with brand new user-generated maps using the Terrain Conductor tool to create truly frantic and unique game worlds.
In Unrailed 2: Back on Track, players can customize their train and characters in a variety of ways, meaning no two outings will ever be the same. As the wheels of the train keep rolling, should you buy upgrades such as a Cannon Cart to blast helpful building components across the map to your waiting teammates, or set up a series of expensive Conveyor-Belt-Transporters to automate the process? Feel too lazy to walk? Learn to throw items across the map or upgrade your stamina to sprint that little bit further and help your fellow transporters. The possibilities are endless!
