Why is Elon Musk asking Twitter users for help?

On Thursday, Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, asked users of the micro-blogging site to help him if they knew of any issues related to child harassment. Elon said eliminating child exploitation was his number one priority.

Twitter undergoes new changes

Bypassing the paywall, priority in replies, mentions and searches, and the ability to post long audio and video are all included in the $8 monthly fee. However, its big win lies in the promise to get rid of Twitter bots and spammers. Indeed, according to Musk, this new verification system will eliminate them altogether.

Elon Musk’s controversial actions

The Twitter team also, very recently, reinstated the Twitter account of former US President Donald Trump, after banning it for almost 22 months. This decision was made after a Twitter poll, conducted by Elon himself, voted to reinstate the former president.

Just under 15 million people participated in the Twitter poll, and 51.8 percent of them said they would like to see the former president reinstated on Twitter.
