Lidl will be selling a battery-operated 3-in-1 electric tool from 8 August. The tool, branded Parkside, can be used for screwing in screwdrivers, drilling various materials or percussion drilling.
The device costs 179 lei and has a maximum torque of 45 Nm. The tool allows the speed to be changed in two ranges: 0 – 440 rpm and 0 – 1,650 rpm. There are 20 lower gears, a special drilling gear and a percussion gear. For added stability, a handle is included in the box.
The chuck of the device can use drills with diameters from 1.5 to 13 mm.
The drill is battery operated. The recommended ones are Parkside 20 V (2 Ah) and 20 V (4 Ah). The battery must be purchased separately.
Lidl will sell a 20 V (4 Ah) battery for 179 lei. A pack including battery and charger will cost 149 lei. The battery in this set is 20 V (2 Ah).
The tool comes with a special carrying case.
The Parkside drill sold by Lidl will be guaranteed for 3 years.
Interestingly, also on offer at Lidl during the week of 8 – 14 August is the battery-operated hot air blower. This product will be available for 129 lei.
