Los Grandes announces new identity

Brazilian e-sports organization The Great Ones has undergone an important change in its image, changing its name to THE and introducing a new logo.

Although the transition to LOS will be seen across all of the organization’s channels, some of its competitive teams will remain The Big Ones temporarily due to specific competition rules.

In addition to its new visual identity, the team has also clarified its leadership structure following the acquisition and merger of Los Grandes with the Brazilian Team One organization last year.

Los Grandes founder Rodrigo “El Gato” Fernandes will be in charge of LOS’ community projects, while Rodrigo Terron will be responsible for LOS’ institutional and partnership opportunities.

Team oNe founder Alexandre “Kakavel” Peres will lead the competitive division of LOS. This includes finding new ecosystems to enter, recruiting players and creating esports plans for its current operations.

Terron added that Los Grandes worked with two agencies and conducted several community interviews over the past five months to make the rebranding a reality.

To celebrate the rebranding, LOS will release a theme song dedicated to the new brand.. No further details about the song have been revealed. The organization has also released a new LOS t-shirt that will be available for pre-sale along with casual t-shirts.

The presale will be on June 10, the same date LOS will debut in CBLOL, Riot Games’ Brazilian League of Legends competition.

With its new identity, LOS aims to strengthen its position in the esports market. This includes outlining “new objectives within the e-sports scene” and reinforcing its “institutional moves,” which include the acquisition of new companies.

2023 has already been quite a fruitful year for the Brazilian organization. In January, Los Grandes partnered with peripheral brand Redragon. In addition, the organization made its “official” debut in last season’s CBLOL. Prior to this year, Los Grandes competed alongside Flamengo.

Our new brand will not change our essence. In this new moment, LOS comes to show even more our strength, demonstrating the level we have reached after years in the esports scene.

We started small, we have evolved together, and from now on we will continue to raise our level even higher. We have reached the highest level of organizations in Brazil and we will continue to stand by our community, always listening to our fans and followers, who know what it is to be LOS.

Rodrigo Fernandes, founder of Los Grandes
