VALORANT Champions 2024 to be held in Seoul

The VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 season has already started. It features 44 of the best teams from VALORANT’s competitive ecosystem in 4 international leagues: VCT Americas, VCT CN, VCT EMEA and VCT Pacific. As the season progresses, we will follow these teams on their journey through the opening tournament, the two phases of the international leagues and the two Masters events. All roads will lead to the Champions in Seoul, Korea.

Opening Tournament

Dates: February 16 – March 3.

The opening tournament will be the first opportunity to see the teams that make up each of the international leagues. The outcome of the tournament will determine the top 8 teams, which will play in the Madrid Masters.

Madrid Masters

Dates: March 14 – 24.

The Madrid Masters is the first global event of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024. In Madrid, we will see the top 8 teams from the opening tournament compete against each other to find out who are positioned as the season’s favorites. The Masters will start with a Swiss phase followed by a double elimination bracket with four teams.

Phase 1 of the international leagues

Dates: March 30 – May 12.

After the Madrid Masters, we will be back with phase 1 of the international league competition. This phase will take place from the end of March to the beginning of May, and the top 3 teams from each league will qualify for the next global event, the Shanghai Masters.

Shanghai Masters

Dates: May 23 – June 9.

Twelve qualifying teams from Phase 1 of the competition will face off in Shanghai in the second Masters event of the season. The teams will compete over two intense weeks, after which one team will become the best in the world at that time.

Phase 2 of the international leagues

Dates: June 15 – July 21.

Phase 2 will start immediately after the Shanghai Masters, which will be the home stretch before the Champions. In Phase 2, the top three teams from each international league will qualify for the VALORANT Champions. In addition, a fourth team in each international league will qualify based on championship points accumulated during the year.

Champions Seoul

Dates: August 1 – 25.

All roads lead to the Champions. After several events throughout the year, we will see the top 16 teams gather in Seoul for the ultimate event of the 2024 VCT season. The Champions will last three weeks, where the best teams in the world will battle it out to become the VCT 2024 World Champion.

Thanks to an increased number of teams and a wealth of competitive talent from around the world, this season looks set to be one of the most exciting in VCT history.
