Android Central released the first real images with a Google Pixel Watch, the long-awaited Wear OS watch. But the story of this watch is more interesting than its design, which we can see for the first time in reality, as it is aligned exactly with what we saw earlier in leaks more than a year ago. Apparently, as with the iPhone 4, whose prototype was forgotten in a bar, the Pixel Watch tester made a similar mistake: he left his watch in a restaurant and never went back.

The first real images with Google Pixel Watch

The watch seems to adopt an extremely curved design, with a round screen, a digital crown on the sides and a fairly large thickness, given the “fine” design. It seems to be more of a “feminine” watch, similar to what Huawei or Samsung offer in the small size of smart watches. Unfortunately, the watch does not have a battery, nor can it be charged, as it has not been lost with the proprietary magnetic charger. What we can see, however, is that, like Apple, Google is preparing a series of proprietary bracelets.

The Android Central publication claims that it took possession of the watch after an acquaintance of the editorial office found this watch in the restaurant where he worked. The watch had a battery at the time, but could not be turned on, showing only the Google logo. The clock is supposed to have been deactivated from the remote software as soon as it was lost. The contact who found the watch says that he kept the watch for several weeks, waiting for the owner to come back for it, but it did not come. To protect its sources, Android Central did not provide the name of the person or restaurant where the watch was found. However, it was mentioned that this is a restaurant in the USA.

Compared to an Apple Watch 40, the watch seems to be equipped with a larger screen, but its body is more compact than that of a 46mm Galaxy Watch.
