More than five million Ukrainians have fled the country, the majority (2.9 million to Poland), and UNHCR estimates that the figure could reach 8.3 million. The president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, has summoned the country’s Supreme Security Council on Tuesday after the explosions registered during the last hours in the separatist region of Transnistria.
