Evo 2024: All the information for this year’s event

The esports scene will once again experience one of its most awaited moments with the arrival of Evo 2024the event presented by Chipotle that promises to revolutionize the fighting game experience. During their announcement, Vicious and Majin Obama gave the first glimpses of what this edition will be like, from the new venue to a three-day convention experience, to the return of single access for the convention and finals, a lineup of featured titles, higher guaranteed prizes and more.

A new stage for competition

From July 19 to 21, 2024players and fans will experience Evo in a completely new space: the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This change of location not only promises better organization and efficiency thanks to dedicated registration rooms, but also an enhanced attendee experience with an expanded show floor, which will even include an arcade stick museum.

Improvements and new attractions

Evo 2024 elevates its fans’ experience with the largest arcade and BYOC (bring your own console) section ever created, a new art gallery, enhanced Evo merchandise offerings and an expanded cosplay contest with photo dioramas and featured guest judges.. In addition, the Evo Showcase debuts a dedicated stage exclusively for panels, reveals, interviews and exhibits, while the Evo Community Showcase once again highlights community-organized games.

A unified experience

For the first time, attendees will not need to purchase separate Arena Finals badges, offering the ability to enjoy the new Arena Finals Experience and convention activities throughout the weekend with one badge.

The Evo 2024 lineup

Evo 2024 presents a monumental year for fighting game fans, with. half of its lineup comprised of games debuting at the event.. The eight featured games range from “Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising” to “TEKKEN 8” to the return of “Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike” in the Throwback series.

Also, for the first time in 2024, tournament finalists will receive medals, trophies and a share of a minimum guaranteed prize of $30,000 per tournament. Also two new channels have been launched: EvoFGC on YouTube and a channel on TikTok.offering fresh and interesting glimpses into the history and community of FGC.

Road to Evo and Evo Japan
