The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated in a message on its account on the social network Facebook that the number of deaths in the Russian ranks is “more than 12,000”, while stressing that so far they have destroyed 317 battle tanks , 28 anti-aircraft systems, 49 aircraft, 81 helicopters and 482 vehicles.
He has also stated that the Ukrainian forces have destroyed 120 artillery systems, three boats, 60 fuel tanks and seven drones. “The data is being updated. The calculations are complicated due to the high intensity of the fighting,” he concluded.
On the other hand, it has indicated that the Ukrainian forces “continue to carry out a defense operation in the defined operational zones”, including “the defense of the city of Chernigov”. “The group of forces and means of defense of Kiev has repelled the offensive of the enemy and has caused damage to its offensive group, standing firm on certain lines,” he detailed.
