UCAM Tokiers Ac. champion of the ÆTHER League

Four universities from all over Spain fought to lift the title of champion in the Final Phase of the ÆTHER Leaguethe most important university esports competition in our country. The tournament, which is part of the Amazon UNIVERSITY Esportsfaced during the days April 2 and 9 to students of the San Antonio Catholic University of Murciathe Complutense University of Madridthe Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the University of Vigo.

The teams faced each other in one of the most popular video games in the world: League of Legendsthe strategy title developed by Riot Games. The team of the UCAM Tokiers Academy made it to the Final Phase without losing a single game in the regular phase, winning the title with a 3-0 win vs. Thunders UVIGOwho made it to the finals after entering the playoffs as the last place finishers in the regular phase.

A prize pool was shared among the students of the four universities. of €2,000, 1,000 for the team UCAM Tokiers Academy500 for the Thunders UVIGO and 500 euros between the Skulls UCM (Complutense University of Madrid) and the Owls UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).
