The virtual world The Sandbox has partnered with McDonald’s Hong Kong to offer the ” first Web3 experience “for the fast food brand.
Opened Thursday to mark the 40th anniversary of the American restaurant chain’s famous nuggets, McNuggets Land is presented as a space hosting several “themed mini-games that put players’ skills to the test”.
“This exclusive gaming experience in The Sandbox allows users to interact with Chicken McNuggets which have been transformed into game characters and take selfies to share on social networks,” reads a statement.
A total of 100,000 SANDthe token native to the metaverse, will be distributed to participants, who will also be able to get their hands on ” mystery boxes “or vouchers for real products. In addition, 10 grand prize winners will be able to order Chicken McNuggets free for a year.
