How Dacia ranks

The leader of the Romanian car market between January and April 2022 was the Dacia brand. As in previous years, the local brand dominates authoritatively, in the first four months being registered with us 9,625 Dacia cars.

On the other hand, the Dacia Sandero continues to enjoy the privileged position of being the only car with increasing sales this year in Europe. Unfortunately, in the context of the significant decrease of the car market, a decrease for the Romanian brand was almost inevitable.

On the second place in the acquisition ranking is the Hyundai brand, with 3,282 units, and on the third Ford, with 2,837 units.

In the Top 10 are, in order, Skoda (2,604 units), Toyota (2,603 units), Volkswagen (2,362 units), Renault (2,231 units), Peugeot (1,353 units), Mercedes-Benz (1,261 units) and Kia (837 units).
