The mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced on Monday the reduction of the curfew imposed in the Ukrainian capital as a result of the Russian invasion of the territory.

Kitschko has indicated on his Facebook account that the curfew has changed in kyiv and in the homonymous region. “Friends! Important information! Change the curfew,” he pointed out before clarifying that the measure will now be implemented from 9:00 p.m., one hour later than until now.

Likewise, the curfew will remain until 6:00, one hour earlier. The local authorities had previously reported their intention to resume classes electronically in the capital this Monday.

Now, the mayor has specified that the curfew will not be extended beyond the weekend. However, throughout the day there have been strong explosions in kyiv, where anti-aircraft alarms have sounded.
