Ubisoft’s new story trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown went live prior to The Game Awards 2023 courtesy of PlayStation Brazil. Although it has since been removed, @BossBigBoss73 on Twitter has a mirror. It offers more details about protagonist Sargon’s journey and his trials and tribulations with some tight new gameplay and cinematics on display. Check it out below.
The story sees Sargon, a member of The Immortals heading to Mount Qaf to rescue the kidnapped prince of Persia. After meeting his friend Vahram, who sees a vision of the kingdom in flames, Sargon gains the power to manipulate time. He embarks on a journey to rescue his friend, while also dealing with The Immortals, who have branded him a traitor.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will launch on Jan. 18, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. A demo will go live on Jan. 11, according to the leaked trailer. Stay tuned for more details and the official trailer during The Game Awards, which airs today at 01:30.
