Netflix has made an important decision regarding its audience in the United States: users of the streaming channel in the States can now watch the series that made President Volodymyr Zelenski famous.

In “Servant of the People”, Volodymyr Zelensky played the role of a teacher who was unexpectedly elected President of Ukraine after a video criticizing corruption in this country went viral online.

According to The New York Times, the series, which ran between 2015 and 2019, proved to be successful in both Russia and Ukraine. The series was previously on Netflix, in the USA, and the streaming service recently announced that it intends to bring it back to its program schedule, in the context of current events.
