The release date for the upcoming South Park special has been officially revealed. Looks like you don’t have long to wait before you’re reunited with your favorite characters.

The 26 seasons of America’s longest-running controversial cartoon gave the internet some of its most memorable memes, but also many occasions for dark humor.

After the consolidation of certain streaming services in the market, the adult animated series announced the launch of a series of specials that you’ll be able to watch directly on HBO Max, among others.

South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid and The Streaming Wars have delighted fans of this out-of-the-ordinary animation. In fact, the franchise is about to celebrate its 25th anniversary. With Streaming Wars Part 1 leaving things “fishtailing”, fans have been feeling the need for a sequel. So it’s not long in coming.

The official release date for the next South Park has been announced.

After weeks of speculation, it has been officially announced the upcoming release of The Streaming Wars Part 2 will be available to watch on Wednesday, July 13.

Following the events of the previous production, the town of South Park now appears to be on the brink of disaster following a drought. Obviously, it’s up to the main characters, including Stan, Kyle and Kenny, to solve this problem.

The cartoon continues to be as popular, among teens and young adults, as it was when it first “landed” on MTV in 1997. Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s cutting-edge, socially impactful commentary and lack of filter are as relevant to modern audiences as they were to those who watched the series 25 years ago. South Park’s most controversial episodes remain talking points even today.
