Shiba Inu accepted as payment for Swiss luxury watches in this online store

Shiba Inu’s SHIB can be used to purchase luxury watches at popular online store Jomashop, which sells iconic brands of luxury and fashion items. The transaction is made possible by Jomashop’s partnership with crypto-currency payment processor BitPay.

Among the luxury watch brands that can be purchased with SHIB, as well as other crypto-currencies supported by BitPay, are Swiss luxury watch brand Tissot, coveted watch brand Seiko, and the Alpina brand from a Geneva, Switzerland-based watch manufacturer with a history dating back more than 135 years, among others.

Instances of SHIB use for payments continue to grow, ranging from car dealerships accepting SHIB to using SHIB to purchase luxury and fashion items, as noted above. SHIB holders can use their assets to purchase luxury car brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley and Koenigsegg hypercars via a BitPay partnership.

SHIB is not just for luxury goods, but has found a use case in the payment of wages and services enabled by the NOWPayments platform. Shiba Inu can also be used to pay for monthly subscriptions to Netflix and Spotify via the NOWPayments feature.

Shibarium’s beta launch remains the key event the community is anticipating. Shibarium’s Layer 2 platform is expected to burn SHIB and boost the fundamentals of the Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens – SHIB, BONE and LEASH – and as such, the launch remains highly anticipated.
