The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2022 is expected to be priced at €199, but it comes with a weaker processor than the model released two years ago.
Details of the selected configuration for the 2022 generation Galaxy Tab A7 tablet have been “leaked” on the internet, coming with and alleged teaser images of the new case design.
Starting with the tablet’s appearance, the teaser images obtained from sources show a rather mundane product, with the Galaxy Tab A7 2022 coming with almost the same design seen on the model from two years ago. The only notable difference seems to be the arrangement of the antenna trim along the length of the screen, which points to other changes to the internal configuration.
Apparently, Samsung has “gone after” other manufacturers of cheap Android tablets, selecting a Unisoc chipset-based configuration for the new model, with even worse performance than the Snapdragon 662 solution used with the Tab A7 2020 generation.

Since the new tablet appears to be just a “refresh” brought to the previous model, expectations are for the inclusion of the same 10.4-inch screen with 1200×2000 pixel resolution and LCD technology, a single 8MP camera on the back and 5MP front camera.
The configuration based on the UNISOC T618 chipset, a 12mm process model, would be backed by a 7040 mAh battery. As for the processing power on offer, the six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz and Mali G52MP2 GPU unit don’t leave much room for optimism, especially since the tablet would come with just 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage (in the base equipment).
Presumably, aimed at fans of “free” tablets obtained with a subscription, the Galaxy Tab A7 2022 still comes with a SIM card option and LTE access for mobile internet connections.
