MADRID, March 20. (Royals Blue) –

More than 335,000 refugees from the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, in eastern Ukraine, have already arrived on Russian territory since the start of the Russian invasion of the country on February 24.

“As of noon on Sunday, more than 335,000 people who arrived from Donetsk and Lugansk have crossed the border with Russia, including more than 71,000 children,” official sources confirmed to the TASS agency.

Of them, more than 12,000 residents of the east of the country have crossed the border in the last day to the Russian region of Rostov.

More than 3.3 million Ukrainians have left the country since the start of the Russian invasion, according to United Nations data. More than two million have been welcomed by Poland, and another half million are in Romania.
