Russia’s deputy representative to the UN, Dimitri Polianski, has called for a UN Security Council meeting on Thursday to discuss US chemical or biological weapons programs in Ukraine.

“The Russian mission has requested a meeting of the Security Council for March 11 to discuss the military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine,” Polianski announced on Twitter, according to the TASS agency.

The request for this meeting comes after the US government denied the “false information” allegedly released by Russia about alleged US biological and chemical weapons laboratories in Ukraine.
