The “source” revelations are virtually non-existent, regardless of the brand in question, but this time the Chinese manufacturer Realme seems to have defied any marketing rules, secretly sponsoring a high quality video presentation with the new flagship series Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro +.

Probably based on the idea that online launch events do the same thing anyway, Realme has probably decided that they can get at least as much media exposure if they host a “surprise” presentation using the platform of an already very popular YouTube influencer. . And the bet seems to have yielded the expected results of both parties involved, with the pre-launch clip surpassing 1 million views on YouTube before the launch event even begins.

According to rumors circulating so far, Realme 9 Pro + is the first smartphone with an integrated pulse monitoring function, conveniently implemented using an existing component – the fingerprint sensor. Already offered on some smartphone models (including iPhone) through dedicated applications, the pulse monitoring function with the fingerprint sensor is not officially supported by any smartphone manufacturer, for the simple reason that the device that should provide the measurements was not designed for something like that.

Realme 9 Pro + promises to overcome this impediment by converting the fingerprint sensor to measure your heart rate with some accuracy. However, the Chinese manufacturer maintains the suggestion not to use this information for medical purposes or for the diagnosis of certain diseases, thus feigning potential lawsuits.

In this case, we can see the black edition of the Realme 9 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. The phone has a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 64MP camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and 16MP front camera, battery 5000 mAh with 33W fast charge. The configuration is completed with headphone output and fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the case. The even better equipped version, Realme Pro +, comes with the Dimensity 920 chipset and the same configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone has a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, but Super AMOLED type, with integrated fingerprint sensor. The photo configuration is based on a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, 8MP ultrawide camera and 16MP front camera. Again, we find the output for 3.5mm jack headphones, but the battery now supports fast charging at 60W.
