Portugal is one more day above 50,000 cases of coronavirus and adds almost 50 more deaths

Portugal has once again registered more than 50,000 cases of coronavirus this Tuesday, with the 57,657 in the last 24 hours continuing the dynamics of last week, only interrupted by the pronounced decrease every Monday; at the same time, it has confirmed another 48 deaths from the disease.

With the figures offered this Tuesday by the General Directorate of Health (DGS), there are already 2,312,240 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, of which 19,661 have ended in death.

Regarding the epidemiological situation, there are now 2,320 people admitted, which means 28 fewer than the day before. Intensive care units also have fewer occupied beds this Friday, specifically fourteen, so the total remains at 158 ​​for the moment, while in the last 24 hours 54,666 affected have recovered.
