Oppo Reno 8 could be the first phone launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset

Oppo Reno 8, the phone that borrows almost entirely from the design of the OnePlus 10 Pro, could be one of the most interesting phones of this period. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is Qualcomm’s top mid-range for 2022, replacing last year’s 778 and 780G. Given that the Oppo Reno 8 looks great on the outside with what we would expect from a OnePlus model, it’s easy to guess that it was originally developed as part of the OnePlus 10 series, but has since moved into its portfolio.
