NACON, a leading video game publisher and designer of premium gaming accessories, is pleased to announce the upcoming release of a new controller designed specifically for PlayStation. With more than 6 million NACON PS4 controllers sold, including the 1.6 million of its NACON Pro line sold since 2016, the features of NACON controllers have been a hit with many competitive gamers.
“This new model in the Revolution line is the culmination of years of experience and NACON’s passion for gaming. We wanted to create the best controller possible, one that would give players plenty of advantage. The Revolution 5 Pro combines the best of our expertise, technological innovation and ergonomics,” said Yannick Allaert, head of the accessories division at NACON. “My thanks go to our long-time partner Sony Interactive Entertainment, who helped us make this product in the best way possible.”
TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION
The Revolution 5 Pro is the result of years of research and constant conversations with players and professional gamers about previous NACON controllers. The result is a unique controller in terms of design, ergonomics, comfort, precision and technological innovation. Among the new features is the Hall Effect technology, which allows greater accuracy with the joysticks and triggers, as well as a very long lifespan.
The entire controller was designed with environmental responsibility in mind. The option of being able to repair and replace key components was of great importance from the very first development phase.
Compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC*, both wired and wireless, the officially licensed Revolution 5 Pro is the perfect companion for competitive gamers striving for the best performance. The controller is fully customizable for each player and can be used for more than 10 hours before needing to be recharged. As an added bonus, the controller not only connects to wireless headsets via Bluetooth, but is also compatible with wired headsets via the included 3.5mm jack.
NACON’s Revolution 5 Pro will be available in October 2023.
