MOONTON Games has announced that it will expand the number of teams competing in the 2025 edition of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang: Women’s Invitational. Four more teams, will have the opportunity to compete, bringing the total number will rise to 16.
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational is one of several tournaments being held as part of the Esports World Cup, a multi-title event that will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament will feature a prize pool of $500,000, one of the largest in the history of women’s eSports.
In addition to increasing the number of teams in the tournament, event organizers have also increased the number of qualifying regions from 26 to 57, allowing teams from Africa, Mongolia and Turkey to participate.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has consistently led the way in supporting the growth of women’s eSports worldwide. The 2024 edition of the Women’s Invitational recorded over 250,000 viewers, making it the fourth most watched event in the history of women’s esports.
