MADRID, Feb. 13 (Royals Blue) –
The Spanish rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda), ninth in the combined times of the Mandalika pre-season test, has assured that he has ridden with “a little pain in the shoulder”, so he has focused on “the pace of race and the configuration” of the bike, in which he notes “a big difference” compared to the Sepang test.
“I really enjoyed today a lot, I was tired at the beginning, but having fun and enjoying the bike was the best way to work. I feel a little pain in my shoulder, that’s why we haven’t focused on the times, because we pushed to achieve a fast lap requires a lot of power and I have worked on the race pace and the configuration,” he said in statements provided by his team.
“I have continued to improve my feeling on the bike and now, comparing it to Malaysia, I notice a big difference. We have taken a big step with the new bike and the feeling is getting better with every lap. HRC and the Repsol Honda Team have done a great job to get us to where we are today and I’m really looking forward to the start of the season. A few weeks to continue training more and then to race!”
