MADRID, 24 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Spanish MotoGP rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) could not be satisfied this Sunday after being sixth in the Portuguese Grand Prix, where from the beginning he did not have “good feelings” and was unable to fight for the first places.
“It’s not the result we want to fight for, but today we didn’t have a good feeling. Already in the warm up I didn’t feel the way I wanted and we made a small change that helped us a bit, but the speed of our rivals was higher than ours,” he said in statements provided by his team.
The one from Cervera was once again far from the podium positions and repeated the sixth place from two weeks ago in Austin. “I’ve been fighting with Pol at the start of the race and then with Alex in the second half, so it’s been a battle between Honda riders,” he said.
“We have managed to emerge victorious from this battle, but it is true that it is not where we want to be. We have to be faster in Jerez and finish closer to the leaders,” he concluded.
