Luchadores de almas 2023 tournament arrives

Fighters of Souls is a six-week event that will take over the world of Runeterra with new game modes, skins, champions and more in League of Legends, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra. This tribute to fighting games is inspired by emotional moments and unique characters from the fighting game genre and anime tournament storylines. The event will begin on Thursday, July 20, worldwide and will run through Monday, August 28.

Soul Fighters takes place in a colorful and diverse world where competitors battle to prove what they are capable of on the biggest stage there is, the Tournament of Souls. In this competition held by the mysterious divine Eye, fighters with impressive skills battle it out until only one remains.

League of Legends

In League of Legends, it will bring with it a new game mode, a champion and a bunch of skins, including a final one. In addition, you will be able to step into Samira’s shoes and participate in the Tournament of Souls in a new client metagame.

Between July 20 and August 28, Riot Games will contribute 20% of the proceeds from sales of Samira Fighter of Souls, the Fighters of Souls event pass and all related packs in League of Legends to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, a donor-designated fund sponsored by ImpactAssets.

In the new game mode, Arena, four teams of two players will face off against each other in rotating matches. After each round of combat, champions will be boosted by original augmentations until only one team is left standing. Battles will take place on four different battlefields, varying in size, obstacle density and theme.

Teamfight Tactics

Fighters of Souls will include a new game mode, strategists, chibicampeons, a mythical arena and an event pass in Teamfight Tactics.

• Arena: Arena of the Tournament of Souls.
• Minileyenda: Khaat’Sai.
• Pass from the Soul Fighters event.
• New game mode: soul fighters.
• Customer narrative experience: The Choncc Dome (TFT exclusive).

Soul Fight is a temporary game mode that will come to TFT as part of the Soul Fighters event. This game mode is composed of two phases: the training phase, where you compete to gather soul power that will serve to boost your soul crown and get additional loot, and the tournament phase, where you will win or lose, with best-of-three frames.

This game mode is accompanied by a narrative customer experience, the Choncc Domo. In this experience, champions and strategists collaborate to prepare for the Tournament of Souls. In addition, the Choncc Domo will bring with it an exclusive event pass+.

Wild Rift

Coming to Wild Rift will be six new Soul Fighters skins, its own narrative customer experience and a new game mode designed exclusively for the title.

• New game mode: Relay Duel.
• Champion release: Nilah, the Joy Unleashed.
• Aspects: Nilah soul fighter, Draven soul fighter, Yasuo soul fighter, Irelia soul fighter, Xin Zhao soul fighter and Draven soul fighter (special edition).

Duel with relays is a new game mode in which players will engage in 1v1 combat. Each player will choose three champions before entering combat and will be able to alternate between them, as long as they are not on cooldown. In this mode, you will be able to execute combos without having to wait for your teammates to follow your lead. The first player to get four kills will win.

As you progress through the event, you will be rewarded with tokens, which will be used to get various items in the event store. It will also be possible to unlock the arcade mode, which will allow you to enjoy a series of mini-games in the skin of your favorite Soul Fighters champion, get an exclusive emoticon and much more.

Legends of Runeterra

In Legends of Runeterra, a new event pass will be released, which will include new Soul Fighters skins for various champions, emoticons and card backs.
