The esports club GIANTX announces the quintet of players with which it will compete in 2025 the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT)one of the most important video game competitions in the world. GIANTX presents a very renewed roster that will jump to the server with one goal: to repeat the milestone of 2023 and return to the Championsthe Valorant World Cup, which next year will take place in Paris. More than 20 million users worldwide play Riot Games’ shooter.
GIANTX’s Valorant team is composed by Cloud, Purp0, Westside, Runner, and Tomaszy.. Cloud and Purp0 continue, while the rest replace Fitinho, Hoody and Redgar, who was also temporarily replaced by Famsii in the latter part of last season. The coaching staff continues to be led by Pipsonwho this time will be accompanied by Waylander as assistant. They are the ones chosen by GIANTX to return to the top of the international Valorant, after a very irregular year in which the unforgettable results of 2023 were not maintained.
The 2025 VCT will kick off in January with a kick-off tournament which will distribute two places for the Bangkok Mastersthe first major event of the year. After that, the first regular league will be played, Stage 1which qualifies the Toronto Masters. This was followed by the Stage 2in which is at stake the passage to the World Cup. The Valorant Champions Tour expands and develops from January to October. This satisfies a demand from players and coaches, who asked for a longer competitive calendar.
GIANTXone of the founding organizations of the VCT circuit, is part of the region. EMEAto which Valorant teams from clubs of the stature and history of Fnatic, Natus Vincere or Team Liquid. There are two more Spanish teams in the Valorant Champions Tour EMEA, which are KOI and Team Heretics. Rounding out the list of participants to a dozen are Apeksrecently promoted, BBL Esports, FUT Esports, Gentle Mates, Karmine Corp and Team Vitality..
There will be a first contact this weekend: the giants travel to Istanbul for the preseason tournament Intel Monsters Reloaded 2024. The rival is Team Liquid (Saturday, 18:00). If they advance to the final, GIANTX will play against BBL or SuperMassive.

Kirill ‘Cloud‘ Nekhozhin (Russia, 2003) will command GIANTX on the server. A member of the team since joining VCT, Cloud has recently renewed for two seasons to take over the IGL role (‘in-game leader’). Semyon ‘Purp0‘ Borchev (Russia, 2003) will put his shooting skills at the service of the quintet after earning a place in it thanks to his punch and ability to solve compromising situations.
MiÅ‚osz ‘ project joins the team.Westside‘ Duda (Poland, 2005), Tomás ‘Tomaszy‘ Machado (Portugal, 2005) and Emil ‘Runner‘ Trajkovski (North Macedonia, 2003). Youth to the power. Westside is the only one of the three who does not yet have experience in the elite of esports, although he is one of the most sought-after promises of the moment. He comes from Diamant Esportsalthough it was already present in the international mixed tournament Spotlight Series which GIANTX won, as did Runner.
The Macedonian, who comes from Team Vitalityplayed in the last edition of the World Cup. Tomaszy had a brief stint in Spain, as a member of Rebels Gaming. It comes from Karmine Corpwith whom he played the Valorant Champions Tour and qualified for a Masters this year. Both are confident of returning to the most anticipated events with GIANTX.
As for the coaching staff, it is led by Daniil ‘Pipson‘ Meshcheryakov (Russia, 1995). Pipson is one of the most reputable heads of the scene and the driving force behind the growth of the giants at Valorant in the two stages he has worked for the club, during which he has participated in a qualification for the aforementioned World Cup and in victories in an LCQ, Crossfire Cup or Rising Series, among other milestones.
He is accompanied by Jan ‘wayLander‘ Rahkonen (Finland/Russia, 1994), who like Pipson was a former professional Counter Strike player and has been involved in Valorant professionally both as a player and in other positions since the emergence of the Riot Games.
