List of phones that will no longer be able to access WhatsApp from 1 January

WhatsApp has announced a new list of devices that will become incompatible with its mobile app after 31 December. This is a selection of older iOS and Android devices that have not been receiving software updates for some time. Among the brands mentioned are Apple, Huawei, Samsung, Sony, LG and many other major smartphone manufacturers.

Some of the devices concerned have not received updates for several years now, such as the iPhone 5C models, for example, while others are lower-end smartphone models that have not received many updates from manufacturers over time anyway.

If you have one of these phones, it might be time for an upgrade if you want to continue using WhatsApp services.
