American singer Halsey has reappeared on the red carpet of the Grammy after several years of absence thanks to his nomination in the category of best alternative music album for his work ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’. Halsey’s relationship with the famous music awards has not been easy for the singer, since, as she herself has revealed on her social networks, every time she attends one of her ceremonies she does so with poor health.

“The last time I attended the Grammys was in 2017 and it was 3 days after my first endometriosis surgery. I walked the carpet with my stitches still on,” the singer explained to her Instagram followers a day before this year’s edition.

“For reasons of luck, tomorrow I will go to the gala again for the first time in years and I had surgery again three days ago” pointed out the nominated artist. Halsey then wanted to joke about the matter and said that “I only publish this to say that if you see me, be kind, I’m fragile. Fragile but excited.”

Unfortunately for her, her health condition did not allow her to enjoy the night as she would have liked and she shared a story on Instagram in which she announced that he had to leave early because he wasn’t feeling well. Although she had to leave the party, Halsey was able to witness part of the performances and was seen on the red carpet with the rest of the nominated singers.

The 27-year-old artist has tried to make the disease visible that he suffers through his profiles on social networks and his appearances in the media. Despite the little diffusion that there is on the subject, the data show that endometriosis is a fairly frequent pathology, since It is suffered by 10% of women of reproductive ageaccording to the World Health Organization (WHO).
