Giants celebrates its 15th anniversary

Giantsthe esports club from Málaga, celebrates its 15th anniversary. On November 27th, 2008, the history of the most successful eSports organization in Spain began. To commemorate this anniversary, Giants has launched a series of audio-visual contents in which legendary figures from League of Legends, Call of Duty, Valorant and fighting games have reviewed their conquests defending the shield and colors of the giants across the planet.

From November 27, 2008 dates the first competitive team of Giants, then Counter Strike. Subsequently, divisions of League of Legends and other video games were created. It was in LoL, with the qualification for the first season of the European LCS, mother of the current LEC, where the first great international achievement came. It was 2013. Since then, Giants has been spearheading the professionalization of esports in Spain and one of the most long-lived references of the sector in the continent.

In these 15 years, Giants has established itself as the club with more national titles and has had an important international presence in League of Legends, Call of Duty, Valorant, Counter Strike, fighting games, Rainbow Six, FIFA, Rocket League and Clash Royale.among other video games. More than 350 players and coaches have passed through the finals of the organization based on the Costa del Sol. Players of the stature of Pepiinero, Th3Antonio, Shanks, Fitinho, ToJor, Babeta, Samux, Lgend, MethodZ, Alfonso Ramos and Fox. have been part of Giants from 2008 to the present.

We are very proud of our history, which is the history of esports in Spain. We competed when there was hardly anything and we have contributed to make esports one of the great digital entertainments of the youth in these times. We are happy to have contributed our grain of sand to a passion shared by thousands of people who follow us wherever we go and enjoy our victories as much as they are saddened by our defeats. It has been a splendid 15 years. And the future will be bright.

Malaga and Andalusia are flags that Giants has worn and wears with pride and responsibility in all its adventures, whether inside or outside our borders.
