Galaxy Z Fold 4 receives unofficial list of specifications, confirming a much improved design

There has been little information about the Galaxy Z Fold 4 so far. Apparently, the next foldable from Samsung gets the almost complete list of specifications, dispelling much of the mystery.

The revelations come from @UniverseIce, a well-known source of rumors about Samsung products, with an impeccable reputation so far. Thus, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is prepared with a 7.6-inch main screen (foldable OLED, with a refresh rate of 120Hz). The exact resolution is listed as QXGA +, corresponding to 1764 × 2208 pixels, also used with the current Galaxy Z Fold 3 model.

At the front, the “Cover Display” screen comes with a 6.2 inch diagonal and HD + resolution, using the same AMOLED technology and 120z l resolution.

Predictably, the configuration is based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the most powerful of Qualcomm’s offer, helped with 12GB of RAM. Depending on your budget, buyers will be able to opt for 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. In both cases, the battery reserve is 4400mAh, being constrained by the limited space available inside the case. The power available in fast charging mode is also not very generous, 25W is now a common figure even on low-cost phones.

The main configuration of the photo is 50MP, which is true, of very good quality. It is backed by a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom and two selfie cameras, one for each screen. The one available with the external screen is a 10MP model, while the solution allocated to the main screen is only 4MP, Samsung has to compromise due to the very limited installation space.

With more processing power and more advanced cameras than the previous model, Galaxy Z Fold 4 would offer a tempting upgrade solution for current owners of the Z Fold 3 model, it remains to be seen if the price and availability in stores , will rise to the level of expectations.
