ASUS has launched a range of accessories for the phone along with its new Zenfone 9 smartphone.

The one that immediately catches the eye is the Smart Backpack Mount, which turns the device into an action camera that attaches to one of the shoulder straps. The smartphone can be easily removed from the magnetic mount, and to prevent accidental dropping, the device is attached to the mount with a retractable lanyard. The system is designed, like the phone, for one-handed use.

ASUS also announced the Connex accessory series, which includes a case, a desk stand, and a holder for cards, access cards or business cards.

The mounts attach to the case at the bottom.

The Connex Smart Stand stands out as a smart stand: opening the stand can automatically launch a user-selected application, such as Netflix or YouTube. These three products are also available in light colours.

The company also introduced a partner-produced case, the RhinoShield SolidSuit Case. RhinoShield also offers protection for the ROG Phone 6 series gaming models.

It should also be noted that the Zenfone 9 comes with a lightweight, plastic cover-style case.

From July 28 to August 21, the Zenfone 9 is running a launch promotion in the official ASUS store. Every phone purchase comes with a gift kit consisting of RhinoShield Impact Protection Screen Protector and RhinoShield SolidSuit Case. The promotion applies to models with 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage (white and black colors), 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage (white and black) and 16 GB RAM / 256 GB storage (black).
