Elon Musk is seriously considering stepping down as CEO of the platform and is willing to consider new candidates for the important role. Edward Snowden was one of the many people who said he was willing to take on this responsibility, and he would even agree to be paid in bitcoins.
The prominent security expert and famous bitcoin and crypto-currency enthusiast has responded to Elon Musk’s desire to leave the job to someone else who is dedicated enough to lead one of the world’s largest social media platforms. In addition to being willing to become the new CEO, Snowden would gladly accept bitcoins as payment for his potential job.

Edward Snowden has already made numerous statements about bitcoin and the crypto-currency market in general. However, he has yet to make a statement about receiving bitcoins as payment for his services.
Some users in the comments section under Edward Snowden’s statement joked that Elon Musk doesn’t really like remote jobs, while this would be the only option for Snowden due to his complicated relationship with the US government and his ban on returning to the US territory.
Last November, Edward Snowden expressed his thoughts on the crypto-currency market and made an industry-wide prediction, urging his subscribers to start practicing DEX safely. After the FTX implosion, inbound flows to decentralized trading platforms have increased dramatically, as platforms without centralized management are technically nothing more than a sophisticated system of wallets and addresses connected to each other.
Unfortunately, Elon Musk is unlikely to give Edward Snowden the CEO position and will most likely choose another heir. Snowden has not yet made any further statements about the proposal he made a few hours ago.
