Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, different from the first part? What director Sam Raimi said

Director Sam Raimi “tried the sea with his finger” and suggested that in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” we will see something new. In other words, there is a possibility that the second part of the franchise may differ slightly from the first.

The hero, played by Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch, could go through some metamorphosis in the second part of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

The next film from Marvel Studios is only weeks away from being released in theaters. “Doctor Strange 2” finally begins after being postponed several times during the coronavirus pandemic.

Raimi came as a replacement for the original director Scott Derrickson, who chose to leave the “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” franchise because of creative differences.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will focus, as the title suggests, on the wizard’s journey through multiple realities, as he confronts the ramifications of his decision to meddle in Peter Parker’s personal problems (Tom Holland ). The project includes an overall cast, including the return of the character Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). And that’s just one of the surprises.

Here’s what director Sam Raimi has to say about the upcoming new movie in theaters:

“The character has undergone changes during the Avengers movies,” I said. I think at first he is presented as a character who is very aware of what he can do, maybe a little exaggerated, I would say – a person who makes informed decisions and has apparent control. It’s safer that way, I think. He has great confidence in his own strengths, but he doesn’t really trust other people. In this new chapter, he learns to give up rigidity. He learns that not everything is about him and he tries to trust people “, said Raimi.
