Depeche Mode concert in Bucharest: where to buy tickets, how much they cost

The band Depeche Mode has announced that it will return to Bucharest on July 26, at the Arena Nationala. Tickets have already gone on sale and have different prices, depending on how close you are to the stage.

The concert is part of the “Memento Mori” world tour and will take place at the National Arena, as previously mentioned, in an event organized by Emagic. Tickets have been on sale since Friday 7 October and can be found on the iabilet network, with prices ranging from 655 lei to 255 lei, but there are also options that offer the public certain benefits.

They announced the release of a new album followed by a world tour at a press conference in Berlin on 4 October. Depeche Mode’s fifteenth studio album will be called “Memento Mori” and will be released in spring 2023 – an exact date is not known at this time.

Talking about Memento Mori, Martin Gore, one of the two surviving Depeche Mode members, said, “We started work on this project at the onset of the pandemic, and the themes of the material are directly inspired by that period. After the loss of Fletch, we decided to go ahead with it, believing that this is what he would have wanted, and this only added to the significance of the project.”

“Fletch would have loved this album. We can’t wait to share this material with you and we can’t wait to show it to you live in concert next year,” said lead singer Dave Gahan.

The “Memento Mori” tour will be Depeche Mode’s 19th tour, and their first after more than five years of inactivity. Depeche Mode’s most recent and longest-running “Global Spirit Tour” (2017-2018), in which the artists played more than 100 concerts, brought the band to more than 3 million fans on both the European continent and in North America.
