MADRID, May 30. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Czech Republic has announced this Sunday that it will send additional weapons to Ukraine to fight against the Russian offensive in the east of the country, as reported by the Czech Defense Minister, Jana Cernochova.

Cernochova has declared this Sunday to the public channel CT that Prague intends to soon send to kyiv weapons worth between 24.1 and 27.8 million euros (26 and 30 million dollars).

“It is crucial that the aid is constant,” Cernochova said, adding that the country has sent more than 139.4 million euros ($150 million) in military aid supplies since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24. .


The minister has not given details on the type or scope of the military aid for security reasons, but has assured that heavy weapons would be included.

Public broadcaster CT has reported that T-72 tanks, BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, Dana howitzers and possibly Soviet-made gunships would be among the supplies provided.
