Cryptopunks surpass Bored Ape’s NFT floor values amid crypto-currency market crash

Statistics for the past 10 days show that the floor value of Cryptopunks NFTs remained above the 60 ETH area, while the floor values of BAYC NFTs dropped below the 60 ETH area.

Cryptopunk’s floor values are ahead of Bored Ape’s NFTs.

Data recorded on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, indicates that Cryptopunks NFTs are now more valuable than Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs, as far as floor values are concerned. On Tuesday, the Cryptopunk with the lowest value was around 66.50 ETH, which is equivalent to $83,027 .

At the same time, the current floor value of BAYC is 58.50 ETH which is equivalent to $73,039 using the current value of ethereum. Ten days ago, the floor value of BAYC on November 5, 2022 was about 78 ETH according to nftpricefloor.com statistics saved on archive.org.

Also, on the same day, the NFT floor of Cryptopunks was 66.70 ETH but on November 5, ETH changed hands for $1,650. Ten days later, ethereum’s dollar value is $1,253, down more than 24% from November 15.

Cryptopunks exceed NFT floor values amid crypto-currency market carnage.At the beginning of August 2021, the floor value of Cryptopunks exceeded the floor value of BAYC until the first week of January 2022. With the exception of a few brief occasions and this week’s case, BAYC’s floor value has been above Cryptopunks’ floor value for most of 2022.

The two top NFT collections accounted for 8.51% of Ethereum’s $88.10 million in total sales over the past seven days. BAYC’s historical sales accounted for $2.50 billion in sales, while Cryptopunks amassed $2.42 billion in sales.

Today, Cryptopunks and BAYC NFTs still lead the pack when it comes to the most expensive floor values in the NFT space. Notable candidates for this week’s floor price include NFT Where My Vans Go, QQL Mint Pass, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Azuki and DigiDaigaku.

On Tuesday, Cryptopunks has an overall market valuation of about 665,000 ethers ($837.52 million) based on the current floor price. BAYC NFTs, on the other hand, has an estimated market cap of about 579,000 ether or $729.18 million.
