Christmas is coming to RuneScape with new update called Christmas Village – That’s Gaming

RuneScape, the iconic MMORPG, has a new update today called Christmas Village released. The Christmas celebration moves to a new playable area called “Land of Snow” in the update. Players get into the Christmas spirit with a new quest, new seasonal activities and new cosmetic items. Furthermore, players have the chance to get their hands on the brand new and coveted Black Party Hat.

Players go on an adventure with Santa and his faithful snow imps and participate in special seasonal activities such as, Fairy Light Fishing, making Christmas decorations and catching snow imps. In doing so, players earn Christmas Spirit, which they can spend to unlock new and classic rewards such as the Peppermint outfit, the Purple Santa Hat and the new rare, tradable Black Party Hat.

Players are also tasked with getting all of Gielinor into the Christmas spirit by helping Santa Claus in a new traditional seasonal quest called Its Snow Bother. Players will give gifts to iconic characters throughout Gielinor and provide the Lumbridge, Falador and Varrock locations with a dose of Christmas cheer.

Christmas Village is available from today until Jan. 4, 2024. Santa’s Lodge will open its doors for the first time on Sunday, Dec. 3. Land of Snow can be accessed through the Holiday Portals at the Grand Exchange of Burthorpe or through the Lodestone Network. Visit the official website for more information.

RuneScape is available for PC, Steam, iOS and Android. Both PC and mobile players can take advantage of cross-platform progression and cross-play support.
