Charles III does not have this Thursday with public acts in agenda for the first time since the death of his mother, Elizabeth II, last week at Balmoral Palace, in Scotland, as part of a series of official events contemplated in the plan ‘London Bridge’.
Thus, the monarch will hold a day of private reflection without public events after returning on Wednesday afternoon to his home in Gloucestershire, as reported by the British television channel BBC.
For their part, the Prince and Princess of Wales will go to Sandringham, in Norforlk, where Prince William and Catherine will go to see the wreaths laid at the site in honor of Elizabeth II, whose chapel opened Wednesday at the Palace of Westminster in London.
The funeral chapel will last four consecutive days and uninterrupted until Monday, when the mortal remains of the monarch will be transferred early in the morning to Westminster Abbey, where the state funeral will be held.
