Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is about to be released and adds a brand new story for Aloy, set in the ruins of Los Angeles. She also meets new characters in the Quen settlement, Fleet’s End, such as Seyka. Played by Kylie Liya Page, Seyka is a Marine and is a completely different contrast to Aloy.
A new video featuring behind-the-scenes footage of motion capture sessions elaborates on this. Seyka is described as capable and “bad-ass,” picking things up quickly (which interestingly matches Page, as she learned more about mo-cap). She is motivated by love for her family and tribe, something she shares with Aloy’s more solitary wolf-style. Of course, the two also clash over keeping “secrets.”
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is available April 19 for PS5. The download size is about 16.7 GB on the PlayStation Store in Europe, although the installation size and total length are unknown.
