Blizzard wants your blood … but for a good cause – Diablo IV

Diablo is a very, very gory game series, making it ideal to be the subject of a new initiative from Blizzard. The California developer has announced that it is asking American fans to donate their blood to a blood donation center to help those in need, earn in-game rewards and enter a contest to win a powerful computer.

The initiative asks Americans to contribute to Blood Harvest, where the goal is to collect a total of 666 liters of blood, unlocking cosmetics when the total reaches milestones of 33%, 66% and 100%. The sweepstakes for the RTX 4090, Intel i9 CPU, DDR5 RAM-powered computer will be started once the total of 666 quarts is reached, and to further touch on the theme of the initiative, this device’s water-cooling system even features a human blood infusion, making it ideal for the Diablo veteran and loyal mother-follower.

Regarding the milestone rewards, they are as follows.

Tier 1 at 33%:

• Dagger: Bloodpetal Anlace
• Axe: Bloodpetal Sever
• Necromancer Focus: Bloodpetal Heart
• Sword: Bloodpetal Blade
• Druid Staff: Bloodpetal Bludgeon

Tier 2 at 66%:

• The Loch Raeth Maor Barbarian Armor Cosmetic

Tier 3 at 100%:

• The Vermilion Eye Piebald Mount
• Sweepstakes to win the custom PC with real human blood are unlocked.

In-game rewards will be handed out on Nov. 22, 2023.
