Baby Shark is moving from YouTube to Paramount: when we can see the animated feature

“Baby Shark” is one of the most popular children’s animations on YouTube. So, after recording millions of views on the aforementioned channel, Paramount set its sights on it, promising to turn the idea of ​​the “baby shark” into a full-length feature film.

Last month, the original Baby Shark video and its incredibly captivating children’s song set a record 10 billion views on YouTube. So it should come as no surprise that Paramount chose to make a feature film based on this idea.

The full movie “Baby Shark” will be available in 2023

Paramount has announced that “Baby Shark” will be transformed, from a sequential production, into a feature film. The giant also said that, most likely, the new animation will be able to be watched sometime in 2023, when the official launch is planned. However, at this time we do not know the day or the month when this will happen.

The film will be produced by Nickelodeon Animation, but also by its original creator, who becomes synonymous with The Pinkfong. As we do not know a specific release date, the script has not been revealed – not yet, at least.

It should be noted that “Baby Shark” is not in its first contact with the world of film, being temporarily taken over, at some point, by Netflix. “Baby Shark’s Space Adventure” was not very successful, however, at the time, being a one-hour production. Therefore, the involvement of Paramount in the franchise could bring increased benefits to the company, as the new animated film is expected to be the length of a normal film, worthy of a movie theater.

“Baby Shark” has also been transformed into a Korean TV series called “Baby Shark’s Big Show”, which debuted on Nickelodeon in December 2020. The show was announced by Paramount Plus as part of a future list of programs for children / adolescents. “Dora the Explorer”, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” or “SpongeBob SquarePants” are not missing from this list.
